Imcomex Rustenburg is built on a lifetime of experience in the transport industry. Owner Johan Nel grew up in a family deeply rooted in long-distance transport, where his father ran a successful transport business serving Rustenburg and the surrounding mining areas throughout the 1980s and 1990s. From a young age, Johan was hands-on in the business - assisting with fleet maintenance and learning the day-to-day operations that keep trucks moving and businesses running.

 

His passion for the industry continued into his student years, where he worked as a commercial transport operator during varsity holidays to support his studies at the University of Pretoria. After completing his degree, Johan returned to Rustenburg with his wife, Martinette, and started his own transport company. Through this venture, he experienced firsthand the critical importance of sourcing reliable, high-quality truck parts to keep his fleet operational and efficient.

 

Recognizing a growing demand for dependable service and OEM-quality parts, Johan explored opportunities within the parts industry. In 2014, he acquired the Imcomex franchise for the Rustenburg area. The brand’s commitment to quality, reliability, and service aligned perfectly with his own values and experience in the field. What began as a strategic investment quickly became his primary focus, as the demand for trusted truck and bus parts in the region continued to grow.

 

Today, Imcomex Rustenburg stands as a leading supplier in the area—built on real industry knowledge, a deep understanding of customer needs, and a commitment to keeping vehicles on the road with parts you can trust.
